Sat 8/12 12:00PM Bransles and Basse Danses from Arena Arena published a dance manual for the law-students of Avignon in the 1520s. Apparently they needed it: he felt that he needed to tell them not to offer to a girl a hand they'd just sneezed into. Some like it hot--- and some like their bassadanze Spanish hot, as is the case in this dance whose title means `Joy in the Spanish style'. For beginners as well as experienced dancers. If you're unfamiliar with Negri's dances, this dance will provides you with many of the step sequences found in other commonly done Negri dances. Learning the basics of each step and how it relates to the choreography within the music will be encouraged. No prior dance experience, no partner required.
