Everything you ever wanted to know about

The Pennsic 50 School of (European) Dance

and then some.
"... and we shall have a fun time regardless."

Dean

The Dean of Pennsic 50 Dance will be Gregory Blount. He is looking for a successor for Pennsic 51-52.

Staff

  • Deputy: Lady Sonya Flicker ("Patches")
  • Drop Dead: Countess Judith of Northumbria
  • Children's Track: Master Martin Bildner
  • Floor and Trailer: Lord Richard de Troyes (packup)
  • Music Coordinator: Master Albrecht Catsprey n
  • Web Minister: the aforesaid Gregory Blount
We will be recruiting additional staff at Pennsic. Many hands make light work!

Also, I am looking for a successor as Dean for Pennsic 51. The ideal candidate will be someone who plays a major role at Pennsic 50.

Classes

This year "the book" will again be available, and the class listings in it (and in Thing) have just one set of changes: Casa Bardicci classes are 2 hours earlier (11am-1pm) and Dancing in the Villa is 1-3pm.

Revels and Socials

On Tuesday, the main Blue Feather event will begin in the Great Hall with the Fashion Show, while we will dance in the Dance Tent starting at the usual time. When the Fashion Show is over, we'll move to the Great Hall to dance there.

Musicians and Music

We will be playing music arrangements from the Pennsic Pile 50 (2023). You might find Aaron's Fakebook useful.
